The Academy U18 created an explosion of offensive fireworks to thump Atlanta Fire United 7-0. The one-sided scoreline surprised Academy pundits who had predicted a close match at the Reach Sports Complex in Phoenix.
The victory secured a strong start to the season for the Academy U18. Its record is 4-0-1. Importantly, the A-18s have not dropped a game to important Eastern rivals like the Fire, Richmond Kickers (Va.) and Weston FC (FL.).
