The newly formed Pateadores Irvine B07 White team entered their first tournament and came out champions of all 2007 boys teams at the Riverside MGFM Summer Classic 2017 on June 10-11. The Pats went undefeated in 4 games, outscoring their opponents 21 to 5, including a 6-0 win in the championship game. It was truly a team effort with goals being scored by 7 of the 11 players, a defensive wall that was physical and tenacious, and a fearless goalie who stopped multiple one-on-one showdowns in fashion.
