Cerritos/LB Pateadores G04 won the 2017 Governors STATE CUP this past weekend. Coach Chris McCray and the team began their State Cup quest on February 4th, advancing thru the Group Stages by taking 1st place and scoring 15 goals while giving up zero. They then got thru the next 4 rounds to reach the Final 4 by a combined score of 19 Goals to zero. On Saturday, April 23, the girls defeated La Mirada FC in PK’s 6-5 to win the semi-final match, and advanced to the Finals.
On Saturday, March 4, LB/Cerritos Pateadores faced Nado at the Galway Downs in Temecula, California for the State Cup Trophy. At the end of regulation play, the score was 4-2. Nado proved to be a tough match, as they were the first team to score on Pats throughout the tournament. Click on the link below to watch the game:
