WE#21’s Mission 
To adopt Roberto Clemente Walker’s (RCW) personal attributes by witnessing and emulating the values-practices that led him to the heights of self-actualization.

WE#21's On The Field Program
WE#21 players become Friends & Teammates (F&T) by being Reliable, Loyal & Generous like Manny Sanguillen #35 & Roberto Clemente #21 who were Pittsburgh Pirate teammates from 1967-1972. Players wear shirt numbers from the 1971 World Series Champion Pirate roster. Before the end of a season, players demonstrate/recite F&T attributes and perform community service. Youths who do so, earn a Pirate game tickets, and attend WE#21 events such as Roberto’s birthday celebration on/near August 18. Players who become F&T may enroll in WE#21’s Life Lessons Program, which guides/demonstrates Roberto’s 21 Points of Light through his values, acts, deeds and achievements. Members celebrate the anniversary of Roberto's first MLB game appearance on/near April 17.
