Jordan Bastian

Jordan Bastian is a Metamora, Ill. native where she is a Metamora Township High School Hall of Fame Inductee being an All-Conference/All-Area selection in volleyball, basketball, and softball, and a 3A All-State selection in basketball and softball.

Bastian went on to play college softball at Olivet Nazarene University where she was the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Freshmen of the Year, and 3-time CCAC Player of the Year. Bastian was named to the NAIA All-America first-team in 2012 and was a second team selection in 2010 and 2011. She broke the NAIA career record for runs scored (292), hits (357) and total bases (588).

Upon graduation, Bastian stayed on at ONU to serve as an assistant coach for two seasons. In that span, the Tigers amassed a record of 98-13 and made two NAIA National Tournament appearances.

Bastian became the head softball coach at Culver-Stockton College in 2014, where she would lead the Wildcats from 2015-2019. After a 14-win season in year one, the Wildcats went on to average 30 wins a season over the course of the next 4 years. In her second season, the Wildcats went 32-17 marking the most victories by the Wildcats since the 2004 campaign. In her final season at CSC, the Wildcats went 31-21, finished as a top ten NAIA offense and produced the school’s first All-American selection since 2001.

In 2019, Bastian was hired as head coach of Division II Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN where she served from 2019-2022. The first two seasons were cut short due to COVID. The Bucs compiled the best record in school history since joining D2 and the GSC in their 2022 campaign and shattered the school record books in almost every offensive category.
