Mason Dixon Soccer League

Volunteer for MDSL

The Mason Dixon Soccer League is a non-profit organization that runs solely on charitable contributions and player registration fees. We are always looking for volunteers. It is rewarding to be involved, especially if you have students interested in the sport. Not to mention, it can be a positive bonding experience for both you and your child. Available positions include coaches/assistant coaches, team parents, field maintenance, and special events (help with an event such as a fundraiser, tournament, picture day, etc.).

MDSL is also currently looking for referees for our IM games. Referees must be in high school and soccer experience is strongly preferred. If interested, please email games@masondixonsoccer.com

One of our greatest needs is for coaches, especially in the IM program. If you are interested in becoming a coach/assistant coach, you do not need to have a high level of experience in soccer. Our league offers a variety of resources to help with this task including coaches clinics, online tutorials, and experienced coaches who are more than happy to provide advice. Please look over the board members page to find the appropriate contact information for the age group in which you would like to apply.

Mason Dixon prides itself on good sportsmanship, love of soccer and in generating a greater interest in the sport in a fun and comfortable environment for all players and their families. Please come join us!

Volunteer Clearances

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the Mason Dixon Soccer League. We are very thankful that you have expressed an interest in volunteering.

Effective July 2016, new PA Child Protection Laws will require background checks for coaches, assistant coaches, and applicable volunteers. These checks will be required to be renewed every 5 years. Coaches and Assistants are also required to complete Concussion training and EPYSA Risk Management training annually. These requirements are listed below in 5 simple steps. For detailed directions on completing the clearances please scroll to the bottom of this page.

If you have already submitted all clearance documents and previously received an MDSL Volunteer pass you can just submit a signed affidavit stating nothing has changed and your clearance documents are still valid.  The affidavit can be found here:
