Standings Reflect Overly Excessive Scoring During Recreational Games
While player development is important, the aspect of “having fun” is very important for the House/Recreation League.
As such, the following policy has been enacted to better ensure that the losing team does not get too discourage by a very lopsided score. The winning team shall not score more than a six goal differential in the recreational program from U-9 to U-14. Any score that is more than a six goal differential, then the winning team will lose one (1) point of their three (3) point win so they would only get two (2) points for that game.
