BSC Appoints Head of College Selection & Recruiting
Brian will facilitate support of players, their families, and BSC coaches in navigating the college selection process and communicating directly with college coaches. Proper college selection takes into account a player's values, resources, career interests, and soccer priorities. Well-informed families will gain knowledge in the unique benefits of various opportunities to continue with the sport after high school, ranging from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, club, intramurals, and coaching.
Brian will continue coaching three BSC Raiders girls teams for the 2019-20 season: 2002 Purple, 2004 Purple, and 2007 Purple.Brian has advanced degrees in both educational leadership (University of Illinois) and college student development (University of Maine). Brian is the Co-Director for the Midwest PBIS Network, a hub of the USDOE funded National Center on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, a technical assistance partner for eight states, and a research partner with universities across the country in establishing school systems to support safe climate and the social emotional behavioral and mental health needs of youth
