Email to 9/10YO & 11/12YO Draft Division Coaches:

Our first week of games start 3/28 and will be preseason games. Scores won't count. This will be good practice not only for player execution but to ensure we all know the rules. The rules on the website can be found at the "Baseball & Softball Rules" link. Here are some notables for coaches:

• Each of you were provided with 25 lineup cards. For each game, give one copy with player name and uniform number to the opposing coach and one copy to one of the umpires. We bat the entire lineup and have free substitution.
• The home team keeps the official book. An adult from the visiting team must operate the scoreboard controller.
• We do track and record pitch counts. The home team with the official book owns the pitch count tracking but it is good for teams to sync up after each inning. I will send an email to all coaches, both draft and open, for how we track and post. Tracking and recording of pitch counts starts 4/4.

For each game, we will provide two adult umpires. Throughout the season, umpires will always report the scores.
