COMMUNITY BASEBALL IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
VAA 2016 COMMUNITY BASEBALL INFORMATION
The Community Baseball program is intended to focus on the following: player skill development, teaching players how to work together as teammates, promoting sportsmanship, and fostering a child’s interest in athletics/physical fitness (specifically in baseball). Our ultimate goal is to create a positive experience for each child and support their continued interest in baseball.
The 2016 Season runs from Late April (depending on weather) until Mid/Late July (depending on year end tournament schedules). The Community Baseball program is offered to kids from approximately 4-18 years old. The amount of games will vary based on age group, but will be made up of approximately 10-12 games for Pre K-2nd grade and 12-14 games for 3rd grade and above plus tournament opportunities.

VAA will provide a jersey and hat. Players should provide a glove and helmet. Baseball bat, socks, baseball pants, and cleats are optional and are the responsibility of each family. VERY IMPORTANT so worth stating again, VAA requires all participants to purchase their own batting helmets.
