Welcome to the 2013 CDAA soccer program! With the season soon upon us, we are again in need of many volunteers to make the program a success. WE ARE IN NEED OF COACHES, COORDINATORS, REFEREES and general helpers throughout the season. If you are interested, or need additional information, please e-mail us at Soccer@CDAASports.org.
We will be having our Coaches meetings on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at JRAC. Any interested coach may attend. We are also providing a professional soccer trainer to provide coaching tips for Pre-K thru 3rd grade coaches from 6:00-7:15.
***ALL COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE CONCUSSION TRAINING***

Weather: If play is canceled due to weather, the Soccer Director will send out an email message to all head coaches as well as post it on the CDAA website by 5:30 pm. Cancellations include both early and late games and WILL NOT be rescheduled for later in the season, unless noted. Coaches are responsible for notifying team members. The website that we will use is www. weather.com.
Games are canceled across the board if the heat index is 100 degrees or higher at 5:30 PM.
If the temperature is above 90 degrees, coaches and referees can establish quarters at the beginning of the game.
Rainouts will be determined by 5:30 PM.
Lightning—All games will cease at the sight of lightning. For Pre-K through 3rd grade the game will be called immediately. For 4th grade and up, the game will break for 15 minutes after which it will be determined if game will resume or be canceled.
Registration
Online Registration
Online registration begins March 18, 2013 and ends on April 30, 2013. Log in to your account to begin registration.
Walk-up Registration
Walk-up registration will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2013 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. In person registrations will be held at Jerry Ruppelius Park located at 10951 Elm Creek Parkway.
Registration Notes
Late registrations will be accepted until May 15, as long as there is availability and teams have NOT been formed. We will honor as many requests as we can while keeping teams competitive.
We will not be able to honor any requests with late registrations. There will be a $25.00 charge for late registration. *AGAIN THIS YEAR-Due to field availability, we are having a cap on the number of participants for each grade level. Once full, there will be a waiting list. REGISTER EARLY TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD A SPOT!

Fees
Fees include such things as uniforms, socks, trophies, ice cream social, referees, along with City of Champlin and City of Dayton user fees.
When registering, please sign up for the grade level your child is in today (2012/2013 school year)!!!
Residents of Champlin or Dayton:
Pre-K to 3rd Grade: $70.00 MUST be 4 years old by May 31, 2013!
4th and 5th Grades: $75.00
6th - 12th Grades: $80.00
Non-Residents:
Pre-K to 3rd Grade: $95.00 MUST be 4 years old by May 31, 2013!
4th and 5th Grades: $100.00
6th - 12th Grades: $105.00

Referees
Hello all refs!
Anyone interested in becoming a soccer referee for the CDAA must have a grade 9 certification and be 14 years old by July 1st, 2012. If you are interested in becoming a referee you will need to be certified. For certification information please go to the Minnesota State Referee Committee website.

Nights of Play
All scheduled game dates and times are tentative, depending upon the number of registered participants in each age group, as well as field availability. Game times are 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Some of the 6th – 12th grade games may be played at 8:45 p.m.
