Skill Evaluations
The purpose of evaluations is to assist in dividing the teams up into competitive leagues. CDAA puts more emphasis on evaluations than many surrounding communities. We routinely hear from parents that have previously been involved with these other community programs that our evaluation process results in more competitive and fun leagues. For this to be successful it is critical that players make the evaluations.
Evaluations have been completed for the 2012-2013 season.

Can I "Play Up" in an older age group?
Players are encouraged to play in their own grade with their peers and classmates
Under certain occasions we allow a player to play up one league (never down). Parents/Guardians who wish their child to be evaluated in an older age group should make their request to the Basketball Directors as soon as possibleBasketball@CDAASports.Org
Players must score in the top 25% of the evaluation group and space must be available in that league to accommodate the player wishing to “play up”
Exceptions to these stipulations are at the discretion of the Basketball Directors due to league/team balancing
Can I coach?
Please indicate your interest to coach your child’s team during the on-line registration process
You can also contact the Basketball Directors at Basketball@CDAASports.Org
Volunteers
CDAA Basketball always needs volunteers to make the season a success. If you can help with running a league, coordinating referees, scheduling games/practices, coordinating pictures, or helping at evaluations, please contact the Basketball Directors at Basketball@CDAASports.Org
