Welcome to the Hendersonville Civitan Baseball All-Star Program! Our All-Star program is a key component of supporting Hendersonville Civitan’s vision of becoming the premier baseball experience in Middle TN.  Participating in the program is prestigious opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills and sportsmanship on a higher level. Being selected as an All-Star not only recognizes a player's dedication but also offers numerous benefits to enhance their baseball experience.

Additional Practices: All-Star players will have access to specialized coaching and additional practice sessions to fine-tune their skills and enhance their overall performance.
Skill Development: Our coaching staff is committed to helping players develop their baseball skills, both individually and as a team. Through focused drills and expert guidance, players can expect to see significant improvement in their game.
Enhanced Level of Competition: The All-Star program provides an opportunity for players to compete at a higher level, facing teams with similar dedication and talent. This experience fosters growth and creates lasting memories on the field.
Introduction to Competitive Baseball:  The all-star experience is a great way for players and parents to get familiar with the structure, level of play, and expectations of joining a travel or competitive league team.

Hendersonville Civitan Baseball fields All-Star teams in the following age brackets:
6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U
Each age category represents a unique opportunity for players to join a team that aligns with their skill level and age group.

Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament Series
Hendersonville Civitan Baseball All-Star teams will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament Series. This series offers a challenging and competitive environment, allowing our players to showcase their skills on a local and regional stage.

Cal Ripken World Series
For the most elite All-Star teams, the journey doesn't stop at the regional level. Exceptional teams will have the chance to qualify for the Cal Ripken World Series—a marquee event that brings together the best teams from around the world. This incredible experience is a testament to the talent and dedication of our players.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Hendersonville Civitan Baseball All-Star team, players must meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered player in the Hendersonville Civitan Spring Baseball League.
- Each player's team must play a minimum of 12 league games.
- Each player must play in a minimum of half (6) their team's league games.
- Demonstrate excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill on the field.
- Availability to play and participate through the summer.

Tryout Process
Player Nominations: Coaches and league officials will nominate players based on their performance during the regular season.
Open Tryouts: Skill based evaluations performed by the All- Star coaching staffs. An additional tryout may be requested by the coaching staff for further evaluations.
Selection Process: The All-Star coaching staffs will carefully evaluate players during tryouts and league play to select the final roster.

Tryout Date: April 7, 2024
Roster Announcement: May 21, 2024
Practice's Begin: May 28, 2024 
Tournaments Begin: June 7, 2024

Player Fees
Participation in the Hendersonville Civitan Baseball All-Star program involves certain fees to cover expenses such as uniforms, tournament entry fees, and additional coaching resources.  Hendersonville Civitan also seeks to offset costs through fundraising and sponsorships. All-Star teams are permitted to seek sponsorships as well.
