Mid-Winter 2024 Season- What To Expect Next

The Mid-Winter 2024 Season will be here before you know it! We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.

Communication is key to ensure the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to make sure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder.

Winter registration opens on October 9th, 2023 and closes on January 4th, 2024 or when the league comes first, which ever comes first. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full we will build a wait list and fill openings from the waitlist on a first come - first served basis. A $10.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy requests are less likely to be met during late registration.

IMPORTANT DATES:

October 9th: Winter Registration Opens
  
January 7th: 
Registration closes Late registration begins (depending on availability)

January 8th-12th:
 We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules and more during this time.   
 
January 17th: All rosters and schedules will be posted

February 15th: Virtual Coaches Meeting at 7:00pm

February 18th-  1st Day of games. Practice is held PRIOR to game time listed each week. Check your schedule under SCHEDULES / STANDINGS. (There is no meet and greet for the Winter League

March 24th: Last game day of the season. 

March 31st: League make-up date. Need determined by Commanders Flag Football. 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

*Jerseys, Flag Belts and any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration will shipped directly to your home this season!

*Shorts and/or sweatpants without pockets are to be worn during game. If a participants wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down

*Participants can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH? We are hosting our virtual coaches on February 18th at 7pm.  You should hear from your coach no later than Saturday February 17th, 2024.

WHAT ARE THE RETURN TO PLAY PROTOCOLS? Please  visit here to read about our safety initiatives to protect your family this season.  

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EQUIPMENT? Once we complete putting teams together, we will ship the rosters to our inventory department who will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belts, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouth guard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
