Guidelines For The Program

WINGS / STRIKERS / KICKERS

BAYSA recognizes that Learning the game of soccer is both doing and observing skils of the game to better a childs perfomrance.  Therefore every year we team up with the Bethel School Soccer teams and provide Ball Boys and or Ball Girls for their home games at Bethel Stadium.  This is a great experince for your child to see the game at the competative levels.

Program Details:

1.
Two adult volunteers must be present with the TEAM Members (The adults do not have to be the coaches or their assistants.)

2.

Six girls or boys for each of the games (Why 6?  1 for each end and 2 for each side)
        a.  The girls will be ball girls at the girls games
        b.  The boys will be ball boys at the boys games.
*** Please remember that this is a great learning experience. It is also important to have the proper number of boys/girls at each game.

3.
Each of the ball boys/girls MUST WEAR THEIR SOCCER JERSEY

4.
Should wear their cleats.

5.
The kids are their to retreive the balls that leave the FIELD to help keep the GAME MOVING ALONG.

6.
Each ball boy/girl gets a snack and a drink for their hard work, typically given at HALF TIME.

7.
Arrive 15 min before the game and enter the field together, with the adult volunteers.  That will cut down on the confusion for everyone involved.

** If a game is cancelled, this page will be updated with the new time.  Unless the new time is a conflict with your existing Game Schdule you will be the team supplying the BALL BOYS OR GIRLS
