What Competitive Soccer is About
MSC spring and fall competitive soccer programs are designed to promote and advance the game of soccer by offering a competitive, challenging level of play.
This program is our most competitive level of play. Given enough interest we will have separate teams of boys & girls in the soccer ages of 9–19. This program features match play against local teams from around the state of Connecticut. This level of play is more demanding for both the players and the parents. Games and practices take place 2-4 times weekly (1 game -- 1 practice or 2 games and 2 practice sessions depending on the coach and player's availability). This program features full uniforms, team experience and a higher level of coaching knowledge.
Focus remains on the development of "the player", versus "teams". Professionally lead training sessions and motivated, trained coaches ensure that our players have the opportunity to develop and refine their soccer skills.
