PATS - LA U10 (rising U11 in 14/15)
W Pats-LA (2) vs Eagles (1)
W Pats-LA (9) vs SLO Fire (0)
T Pats-LA (0) vs SCV Magic (0)
FINALS = W Pats-LA (2) vs Eagles (0)
The u10s kept true to expressing our unique style of play and dominated possession at around 75% in each game by great combinations and exciting possession plays. Truly one of the toughest games came against Santa Clarita Valley Magic (a top F1 team in SCDSL) to secure a trip to the Final. Pats-LA kept its shape and composure defensively to keep them at bay and not letting them have any easy chances is a true testament to how well our back 4 defenders stayed locked down, and how our defensive midfield filtered them every time Magic tried to counter. In the Championship game Pats-LA, the boys were hungry for the cup. After making it to the Finals in 2 tournaments since starting 2014 as Pats-LA , they were determined to not let this one get away. The sheer demonstration of their character to withstand the fatigue and perform at a high level was very deserving of the cup. Well done B10!!
PATS - LA U8 (rising U9 in 14/15)
W Pats-LA (5) vs Eagles-WV (2)
W Pats-LA (2) vs Oxnard United (1)
SEMIS = W Pats-LA (5) vs Eagles-MonkaAcademy (1)
FINALS = W Pats-LA (3) vs LA Premier FC (2)
The u8s took a grand leap forward by truly capturing the nature of our team play and demonstrate a style of possession rarely seen at U8. Getting past highly rated Oxnard United and Eagles-Academy was a great test of the resolve Pats-LA U8 has to face the challenge of performing under intense pressure. In the Championship game, Pats-LA, was put through the test against a fast and aggressive La Premier FC U8 team. Pats-LA went up 2-0 at the half, but in the complementary part of the game LAPFC tied it 2-2. With little left in the game, Pats-LA dug deep and found one to put past the keeper and win the Championship. This is their 2nd Championship in 3 tournaments for 2014. Well done B8!!
