The girls U12 Pateadores IER came away as the champions of the Labor Day Forest Cup in San Diego. After advancing from the semi-finals with a 4-2 win over Surf Academy II, the girls seemed to be equally matched against a Liverpool Premiere team. "It was a great game. The girls worked together and fought for every ball", said Head Coach Napoletano. Tensions were high into the second half with a 0-0 score. With only about 15 minutes to full time, the Pats team found the back of the net. The girls were able to fend off several, late counter-attacks by Liverpool to win the tournament with a 1-0 result.
