
The BU15 Academy won the Far West Regional Spring League and advanced to the Regional Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii. The BU15 had an impressive run in the league, going undefeated in nine games, and playing technical, possession-oriented soccer.
In the competition's first round, the boys posted victories against FC Golden State (2-1), Fullerton Rangers (1-0) and Riverside FC (2-0). The second round was even more impressive with decisive wins over SCV Magic (4-1) Real Tuzos of Arizona (3-1) and Riverside (3-1). Coach Jon Szczuka led the team over three tough weekends of competition in Phoenix, Lancaster and Highland. The next stop is Hawaii, where the BU15s will be competing against state champions from Hawaii, Nevada and Colorado in group play. For more information on the Regional Championships, go to:
