Pateadores alum Brian Perk was named All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Brian, a UCLA senior, earned the honor of being selected to the second team by leading the Pac-10 in goals against average (0.87) and recorded four shutouts and 53 saves, including a career-high 10 saves in the win at Maryland. He was also named to the first-team All-Pac-10 squad and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Season first team. Perk also started in goal for the U.S. Under-20 National Team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-American selections were selected in December 2009 and recognized at the annual All-American Luncheon, held in Philadelphia, Pa. on Jan. 16, 2010 as part of the 2010 NSCAA Convention.
