The Academy U16 shut-out both Nomads and Richmond Kickers of Virginia 3-0 in weekend games at the Reach Sports Complex in Phoenix. The decisive victories improved its record to 4-0-1.
Earlier in the weekend, the Academy U16 blanked Weston FC of Florida 2-0, and lost a tight match to Atlanta Fire United 1-0.
