The Syracuse Soccer Club began in 2009 when four parents felt it was time to try promoting soccer in Syracuse again. At the time, we started with just one team that played against Nebraska City teams. The club has now grown to as many as 16 teams with 120-200 soccer players each season, playing all over southeast Nebraska. We offer soccer for 4 and under (In-House), Under 6 (In-House) and traveling U7 up to U17 when there is enough interest. We are not a part of the Syracuse Parks and Rec, but the City of Syracuse is very supportive of our efforts, as is the community. With everyone's support, we completed the grading, irrigation, and grassing of four soccer fields at the Syracuse Athletic Complex, which is owned by the City of Syracuse, in the fall of 2014. We are glad to be playing on our home fields again!
