We've had a few questions about how to add another player after you've already added your first. Here's how you do it.
Shirley Recreation Commission is comprised of a 5 member elected Board and has an office in the Shirley Town Office Building. We are responsible for organizing and running recreational activities for Shirley residents. Current programs include:- Basketball: Grades K through 8. - Soccer: Age 4 through Grade 12.- Swim: Age 5 through Grade 12.- Summer Camp with Summer in ShirleyFacilities that Shirley Recreation programs make use of include Lura White Elementary School and the Ayer-Shirley Middle School gyms for basketball. The Parker Rd. fields and the 10 acre complex on Wilde Rd. for soccer. The Penguins swim team has both a winter and summer season with our "home field" being the Benjamin Hill Pool. Summer In Shirley is a full day summer camp that runs from late June thru mid August. We have other programs we run and are always looking for new ideas!!
