The Shady Hills Hurricanes Youth Football and Cheerleading is a kid-first program affiliated with Pop Warner, the largest and oldest youth Football and Cheer league in the world. Our local association is with the Foundation for Youth Development of Tampa (FYD Tampa), an age-based, unlimited weight league. All of our programs feature five divisions including 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U teams. Age is determined by the child's age as of July 31. In the spring of 2022 the Hurricanes added a 6 game tackle season with some of our other FYD family. Our inaugural year was 2021 and since then we have recruited many certified volunteers and coaches and proudly partner with our sponsors sharing our principles. We look forward to a successful year 2 and we will keep the Hurricanes tradition moving forward!! Go Canes
