We are a Recreational Club and a Competitive Classic League.  Any types of players from beginners to experienced are welcomed.  We love to coach and train young players, teach them to have fun, develop new skills and to have a love for the game. 

Registration: CLOSED July 15, 2026.
Registration fee now includes a jersey. Our club will be getting a new jersey.

Season dates:
Fall-Practice starts mid-August for U10 and up and the following week for U8 and under. Games August-October (8 weeks).     


Recreational Club- This club is meant for players of all skill levels and focuses on fun and players soccer development and learning.  Players are assigned to a specific team based on birth year (not school year).  They practice twice a week with games on Fridays or Saturdays.  Recreational is offered to players U5-U16.

Competitive Classic League- This League is meant for players who want to be more competitive, that are more skilled and willing to commit to more intense games and practices.  Players should have a solid foundation of technical ability for their age group, game flow, and age-appropriate soccer terminology.  Classic League has a level of soccer slightly-to-moderately above what we typically have in the recreational league.  It is not an ultra-competitive highest-level of soccer, but it is a great opportunity for players who are hungry for more.  The players classic team will be their primary team but can choose to be placed on a secondary recreational team for more play. Registering in Bloomfield does NOT mean that you will be on a team with only Bloomfield players, you will go to Farmington for try-outs and hopefully be selected to be on a team with players from Farmington, Aztec, Kirtland or Bloomfield.  You will also be playing and practicing games in some or all of these locations, including Gallup, Durango or Cortez. It is for players U10-U16.

Register as a coach- clubs.bluesombrero.com/bloomfieldyouthsoccer  (this website is the same one that players will be registering on) Click on boxes below your name that say risk status, Safesport, concussion and click renew and update.  It should take you to the websites, in case in doesn’t the websites are below. Websites- ussoccer.org (if a new coach the training takes 2 hours, if returning coach, just needs a refresher course about 20min. Renew every year) (concussion training is every 2 years, about 30 min) 
Coaching training and credentials- This meeting is mandatory and held in Farmington.  That is where you will get more information, make sure all documents are turned in from players and receive your official rosters.  You cannot play without an official roster.  Sometimes game schedules will be ready to pick up, other times they will be emailed to you later.
