                 To The New Online Registration System Available To You
           From Grafton Baptist Church Upward Basketball & Cheerleading!!


Interested in becoming a basketball coach or assist coach?
We would love to have you! Please come to one of the evaluation nights 
and we will introduce you to the program and answer any questions you 
may have. We even let the coaches pick the name of their team!

 



Want to become a cheer coach or assist coach? We are
one of the very few area churches that participate in Upward cheerleading! This
program is rewarding in itself! We have tons of fun and coaches can pick the
name of their squad! You can even design your own cheers & halftime show! If
you are interested, please come to one of the evaluation nights and we will
introduce you to the program and answer any questions you might have.

Have an interest in becoming a referee for Upward Basketball?
We are always in need of referees. If you have experience-great!
But if you don't, we have all the training material you can stand!!
Games are on Saturdays from 8am to 8pm for one hour at a time. 
Pick which game(s) you'd like to referee. We have boys & girls ages K-5 to 8th
grade. Come on out to one of the evaluation nights and we will introduce you
to the program and answer any questions you might have.

 Did you know that we offer Upward Cheerleading for ages K-5 to 8th grade? Sign up now...our cheerleaders ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

UPWARD "MEALS AFTER GAMES".......

We will offer our "Snack Fee" again this year. The fee will be $25.00 for each player/cheerleader. The fee includes a meal after each game, for all 8 games; delivered to your child's team room. If your game is before 11:00am then we will serve breakfast. This is an optional fee & if you are interested in signing up your child/children for this, please see our Concession Supervisor, Mr. Greg Field. 

GAME DATES & BANQUETS

Game dates this year are December 1st, 8th, 15th, January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, February 2nd. Awards Banquets are February 4th & 5th.

 We will break for Thanksgiving from November 21st to the 23rd & resume November 26th.

We will break for the Christmas & New Year holidays from December 19th to January 2nd & resume January 3rd.

Upward Evaluations

Join us for our basketball evaluations. Each player is required to attend one night, anytime between 6-8pm. Cheerleaders are not evaluated but encouraged to attend one night for sizing & information purposes.

About Grafton Baptist Church

Please visit our church!!! We would love to have you! Sunday school starts @ 9:30am for all ages. Sunday services start @ 10:45am. We also offer some Sunday evening services which include TEAM KIDS!!!  Please call us @ 757-898-6412 for more information.

Coach & Referee Info

We will be having our annual BASKETBALL/CHEER COACH & REFEREE meeting which will be at the church Thursday Oct. 18th from 6-8pm. If you are interested in coaching but haven't coached yet then please come out & meet/talk to some of our veteran coaches. It's a great time for fellowship so come on out and bring all your questions! DINNER WILL BE SERVED!!!
