Registration for the 2023 K-4 Flag football Season:
Registration cost for K-4 Flag is $60 per player.
There are 3 divisions for the 2023 Flag Football Season: Kindergarten | 1st/2nd Grade | 3rd/4th Grade.
The grade divisions are identified as the upcoming Fall school year, the grade your players will be moving into.
All practices and game play will be held at on the campus of Trinity Lutheran High School | 1 Trinity Way, Seymour, IN 47272.
The players are required to get 2 practices in before their first game, Saturday 8/12.
Those practices will be Tue, 8/8 and Thursday, 8/10 from 6pm-7:30pm. Practice will resume one time per week on Thursdays from 6-7:30pm following the 1st game.
The season schedule will be posted to the website once it is finalized.
TYFL does not have a game on Labor Day weekend. We reserve this time for your family and friends.
The player's uniform (shirt and shorts) will be provided and are to be worn at each game during the season.
Regular play clothes and cleats should be worn during each practice.
Games will be held on Saturdays beginning at 9am, 10am and 11am.
The player is responsible for his or her own cleats and water bottle.
A Parent/Coach Information clinic will be held on Saturday, August 5th located at Trinity Lutheran Highschool. The meeting will start at 9am and last for approximately 30-45 minutes. During this time, the coaches will take the players to the field to begin introductions and show them where they will meet at the start of each practice and game. The players can expect to participate in some fun drills while we meet field side.
Should rain be expected on the day of the Parent/Coach Information Clinic, we will meet in the commons area of the school while the players are escorted to the gym.
Any boy or girl, regardless of church or school affiliation is welcome.

Registration for the 2023 5th/6th Grade Tackle Football Season:
Registration cost is $ per player.
Safety and the well being of our children is our number one priority. In order to ensure our players have the safest and most reliable equipment, we ensure the best practices are used with the best people on our board. We’re blessed to have a specially trained and board certified sports medicine physician over seeing all safety protocols, coach certifications and player safety leading up and through each season. Dr. Tim VonFange, MD is our Director of Player Safety and Accreditation where he meets with us regularly in and out of season ensuring best practices and the highest standards are maintained including the equipment we use each season.
All equipment will be provided including pants/leg pads/shoulder pads, Riddell helmets, mouth pieces, practice jerseys and game day jerseys. Players are responsible for their own cleats and water bottle.

A combine or player draft will be performed to identity fair and competitive teams. Date TBD.

Our first season in 2021, we were blessed with 108 children from 14 different zip codes!
Part of our mission at TYFL is using the game of football to teach our children the many life lessons they'll experience as they grow. We are passionate about incorporating into our season schedule a philanthropic opportunity for our children to give back in some shape or form within our community.
