CACTUS EVALS PPD. TO MONDAY/TUESDAY

Hello, Cactus Little League families.

Although it is a beautiful day today, the weather forecast for Saturday is not good! So, unfortunately, we are again pushing back our evaluations for Minors and Majors baseball.

Here is the new schedule:

MONDAY, FEB. 12
-Evaluations for kids planning to play Minors (ages 7-10)
-Check-in at 5:30 p.m.
-Evaluations from 6-8
-Location: Freedom Park Field 2

TUESDAY, FEB. 13
-Evaluations for kids planning to play Majors (ages 9-12)
-Check-in at 5:30 p.m.
-Evaluations from 6-8
-Location: Freedom Park Field 2

According to Little League rules, all players in these age brackets must participate in at least one evaluation session. Depending on attendance, we might hold another one on Sunday, Feb. 18, or a date thereafter.

I will be available to register families during these sessions, although it is preferred that you register beforehand through our website. The last day to register is Sunday, Feb. 18. Anyone seeking a spot after that date is subject to the wait list.

Also, on Tuesday, we will be holding our first-ever clothing and equipment swap meet. If you have shoes, pants, gloves, bats, etc., that are in good shape, but your kids have outgrown them, please bring them to the park. If you're looking for any of the above for your kiddos, stop on by. It's a great chance to get rid of stuff/acquire free stuff!

We'll be sending out another reminder about evals with more details either Sunday night or Monday morning.
