JOIN OUR BOARD!

Dear Cactus Little League families:

If you'd like to give input on how to improve the operations of Cactus Little League, this is your chance. If you've ever wondered ...

-"How is the registration fee determined and what does the league do with it?"
-"Why wasn't there an opening or closing ceremony?"
-"Why weren't trophies given out?"
-"Why wasn't the snack bar open?"
-"Who made that rule?"
-"I wish the league would ..."

... then please consider joining the Cactus Little League Board of Directors! There's no experience necessary, and it's your opportunity to have a say in how the league is run. You can join the Board as a general member, or volunteer to be an officer (click here for a description of the officer positions). The current Board is very small and we're in need of many new members for the 2021/2022 season. In particular, the required positions that must be filled include:

-President
-Vice President
-Treasurer
-Secretary
-Safety Officer

Additional positions include:

-Player Agent
-Coaching Coordinator
-Umpire-in-Chief
-Equipment Manager
-League Information Officer
-Uniform Officer
-Events Coordinator
-Sponsorships & Fundraising Manager
-Concessions Manager

If you'd like to join the Board, please plan to attend the Cactus Little League annual meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. (location TBD). This meeting is open to the public, so feel free to attend even if you don't plan to join the Board. We'll send reminders in the coming days.
