BASEBALL

Read below to find the level of play for your child:

Level 1: T-ball

For all players new to baseball ages 3 ½ to 6. Also for returning T-ball players who would benefit from more time strengthening their fundamental skills of baseball.

Basic skills are repeated weekly! Kids will play like they practice.

All Sessions are 90 minutes long.

Level 2: Coach Pitch

Players who have conquered T-ball this is for you! The Tee is eliminated and a new level of play is introduced.

New fielding, base running and batting concepts are introduced.  Not for beginners!

All Sessions are 90 minutes long.

Level 3: Competitive Teams

In addition to weekly two hour KIDBALL sessions, players in grades 2, 3, & 4 are entered in competitive BCC league..League rules are followed. Pitching machine is used. Additional league fees apply.

Playing on another BCC Team? That’s O.K. Stay with KIDBALL regular sessions and continue to develop and sharpen your skills.

Unique Rules for Younger Players

  • Rules are kept age appropriate
  • No Score is kept. The emphasis is on the instruction and fun of baseball.
  • With a strong fundamental base of skills, KIDBALL Kids will be ahead of other player as they grow!
  • No Outs - All players will run the bases even if “out” in order to reinforce proper base running. (machine pitch outs are counted in transition to league rules)
  • No Strike Outs - a player will swing until they hit the ball. In Coach Pitch up to five balls will be pitched. The tee will be used during transition as needed. Confidence will rise when players succeed.
