FBH ANGELS 15U and Showtime 15U tied 5-5 on Thursday.
In a thrilling matchup on Thursday, FBH ANGELS 15U and Showtime 15U ended in a 5-5 tie after a game filled with back-and-forth action.
Showtime - Gutierrez 15U were quick to make an impact, with Caige Strange doubling in the first inning to bring in the opening run. However, FBH ANGELS 15U responded swiftly in the bottom half. Taking advantage of an error by Showtime - Gutierrez 15U, Tyler Shipman singled to drive in a run, helping FBH ANGELS 15U seize a 2-1 lead.
The second inning saw Showtime 15U capitalize on an error by FBH ANGELS 15U to even the score at two apiece. FBH ANGELS 15U then regained control in the bottom of the third when another error allowed them to score, followed by a ground out from Shipman that extended their lead to 4-2.
The momentum shifted once more in the top of the fourth. Luke Teodosio drew a walk, forcing in a run, and Brady Watkins successfully tagged up to score, pushing Showtime 15U ahead at 5-4. However, FBH ANGELS 15U managed to level the score in the bottom of the fourth due to a passed ball, making it 5-5.
On the mound, Tyler Shipman started for FBH ANGELS 15U, delivering three solid innings. He allowed three hits and two runs (one earned), while striking out three and issuing two walks. Parker Medlen took the mound for Showtime 15U, pitching one and two-thirds innings. The lefty gave up two hits and two runs (one earned), with two strikeouts and two walks.
Offensively, Grayson Crutchlow, Shipman, Ian Reichert, and Carter Bowles each recorded a hit for FBH ANGELS 15U. Shipman and Reichert also contributed an RBI each. Isaac Rose showcased his speed with two stolen bases, and FBH ANGELS 15U collectively stole six bases throughout the game.
The game concluded with a tie, reflecting the evenly matched competition between FBH ANGELS 15U and Showtime 15U.
