12U ANGELS NABS WIN OVER MAVS 10-8 TO ADVANCE

EASLEY, SC - The Jr Mavs started things off early scoring five runs in the first inning, but the FBH 12U Angels battled back to secure the win and advance on Sunday play. The Mavs offence silenced the crowed as multiple batters were driving in RBIs. Both offenses showed up strong at the plate. The Angels collected eight hits in this high scoring affair.

Mavs opened up early jumping out in front with a 3-1 count, before driving in the first run for the Mavs. The FBH Angels took the lead for good with a powerful inning of their own, driving in 3 runs in the third inning. Owen lead things off for the Angels on the mound, lasting three innings allowing six hits and six runs while striking out three. Collin recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for the Angels.

Looking over the offensive plays of the game the Angles racked up eight hits. Owens, Collins and Kenneth all had multiple hits for FBH. Kenneth, Collin and Owen each collected two hits to lead the Angels. Luke led FBH with three stolen bases. The Angels stole a total of 11 bases against the Mavs. What a great win for the 12U FBH Angels.
