FBH ANGLES 13U LATE LEAD SECURES WIN 12-10 OVER 15U

TIGERVILLE, SC - The FBH Angels took over North Greenville University on Sunday bring out their 13U and 15U squads. The scrimmage brought out friends and families for a friendly but competitive scrimmage. FBH 13U Angels nabbed the lead late in the game in the 12-10 victory over the FBH 15U Angels on Sunday. 13U trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Matty Lyle homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

13U Angels was boosted by #14 Brandon Ashing who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Brandon singled in teh second, doubled in the third, singled in the fourth and singled again in the fifth.

13U Angels hit two home runs on the day. #54 Lyle had the homer in the fourth inning and Marley Henry went deep in the fifth. The 13U Angels scattered 20 hits in the game. Brandon, Jake, Marley, Ethan, Tanner, Matthew and Ian all had multiple hits. Brandon went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the 13U team with hits.

The 15U Angels racked up 13 hits in the game. A late in the park homerun from #2 Tristan Johnson created a needed spark. Ethan Ridings, Roper, Kylan and Luke each collected multiple hits for the 15U Angels. Ridings, Petras and Pittman all collected multiple hits. #9 Ridings led the 15U team three hits in four at bats. 15U Angels tore up teh bases paths, as there players stole at least two bases. Hayden Brown led the way with two.

Despite the loss for 15U they did collect a great number of hits in this high scoring affair.
