HSA Stars

The HSA Stars training and 5v5 jamboree is presented by Highline Premier FC.

HSA Stars events take place during a one-week period in late November or early December, after the Fall recreational season has concluded.

Coach-nominated recreational 8u-10u players are invited to this free event consisting of a HSA Stars training session led by our professional coaches and followed that weekend with a 3-game 5v5 Saturday jamboree.

Based upon participation in HSA Stars training and jamboree, players may be selected to participate in further training and playing events.

Player Invitation Process:

All West Seattle Soccer Club and Highline Soccer Club Recreational Coaches of teams aged 8u-10u are asked in October (near the end of the Fall recreational season) to recommend their top players for the HSA Stars program.

All recommended players are eligible to participate in a FREE HSA Stars training and HSA Stars Jamboree event near the end of November and early December. HSA Stars players participate in an advanced development training session and play with the best of their Fall Recreation Soccer season. Highline Premier FC, the advanced development program of the Highline Soccer Association, supplies all of the equipment, facilities, and professional licensed coaching staff.

If you player was nominated by your coach, you should have received an email invitation from Highline Premier FC with instructions on how to register.

HIGHLINE SOCCER ASSOCIATION (HSA) 2023 STARS PROGRAM

Dear Head Coach,

The HSA Stars Program is for Highline Soccer Association recreational teams (West Seattle Soccer Club and Highline Soccer Club) in the U8 to U10 (birth years 2016 to 2014) age groups. As part of our commitment to raising the level of play for all players and coaches throughout the Association, Highline Premier FC is offering its 10^th annual HSA Stars Program.

This program is intended to be a fun and exciting culminating event for you and your top players as we approach the end of the Fall 2023 season. Specifically, we are looking to you to reward those players who have been Stars for your teams. These are players who not only are at the top end of your team, leading through their consistent exceptional performance on game day, but may also be the players who have improved and excelled in training and as young stewards of the game. Additionally, we invite you, the coach, to participate in the HSA Stars programming and festivities.

The program is structured similar to that of the youth baseball All-Stars. Between now and October 25th, we would like you to assess and then nominate your best three (3) players. If your team has been a high performing team this season and you feel that more than three players are deserving of this honor, please let us know and we’ll make every effort to include them in the program.

To nominate players to the HSA Stars Program, please do the following:

1. Identify your top three players and submit your player names by following this link to the nomination form: HSA Stars Player Nomination Form

2. Send those players an email with the Word template included in the attached document, notifying them of their nomination as a 2023 HSA Star.

Recommended players will need to register for the program, but all Stars events will be FREE to the participants. In addition to your players, you as Coach are invited to attend Stars trainings and Jamboree. If you or your families have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] .
