2024 Summer Basketball

Good afternoon,

As most of you are aware, I planned to do some sort of basketball program for the summer. I understand that families plan most of their vacations and things to do through the summer so I've elected to create an informal pickup program. Everything will take place outside between the middle school and the elementary school in Huntington on weekday evenings. Starting the week of June 24 and running until August 10.

Depending on a player's age they will be welcome to attend each week at a certain time and day. My initial thought is to host games Tuesday from 5:00-6:15 for Pre-K and Kindergartners, then from 6:15 - 8:15 First and Second Graders. Then on Thursdays we will host Third graders through Sixth grade from 5:30 - 8:15. However, this may change based on enrollments. Grades are based on the grade the player is in currently.

We will not play in the rain / thunderstorms / other inclement weather. The program will finish with a tournament and a celebration of some sort. 

The cost for the program is $20 which will help cover the cost of repairing the hoop, keeping the port-a-potty, and the end of the season celebration. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions / concerns.
