There is an immediate and ongoing need for referees in Colorado for youth sports.  CSA has opened all the online referee courses to any and all who would like to complete them (approx. 4 hrs). If interested in becoming a certified referee after completing this course, please contact Nicholas or Debbie at C&C.  There are only a few more steps to officially becoming a certified referee. 

Age requirements: 13+ years old

Our team age groups include U9 - U15 rec & U11 - U19 competitive.  We have games on Saturdays (all day) and Sundays (morning or evening). As a general rule, the ref should be 2 years older than the competing teams.

Becoming a ref is a prosperous opportunity, as it pays well and opens up options for possible travel as well. For the foreseeable future, the rates will be:

U11/U12: $35/game per center ref, $25 per assistant (linesman)

U13/U14: $43/game per center ref, $35 per assistant

U15/U16: $52/game per center ref, $44 per assistant

U17-U19: $65/game per center ref, $53 per assistant

If you ref alone there is an added (Iron-Man) fee:  an additional $15 for ages 14 and under; and $20 ages 15 and up.
