The Anacortes Parks and Recreation County Soccer League is similar to the in-house City League. Practices and “home” games will be played in Anacortes. However, “away” games will be played in places such as Burlington, Sedro Woolley, Mt. Vernon, and possibly San Juan Island. Games are typically played on a larger field with more players on the field. (U-11 & U-12 plays with 9 vs. 9 including the goalie and U13/14 will play 11 vs. 11) Age divisions may be combined if registration numbers are low. Players must play in their proper age division. Sportsmanship, equal participation, and skill development are still emphasized. A team shirt/jersey is included in the registration fee. Players will need to supply their own shorts, shin guards, socks, and cleats (baseball or football cleats are not allowed). There is a chance games may be scheduled on Saturdays AND/OR Sundays.
