Leavenworth United Soccer Club (LUSC) is the premier youth soccer program of the Leavenworth Soccer Association.

LUSC Mission: Prepare athletes to be competitive players in high school and beyond. Focus on the development of soccer techniques, tactics, and teamwork.

LUSC competes 10 months out of the year, from August - May, against other premier-level teams in the Kansas City Area. There are two outdoor seasons (fall and spring), and in the winter we compete in futsal or indoor soccer. We also compete in tournaments in the KC area and sometimes out of state.

Competitive Registration Information

The 2020-2021 Competitive Season at LUSC will be holding tryouts for the upcoming season. To become part of our family, for the upcoming year, you need to enroll for tryouts(below), bring shinguards, cleats, water, and show up tryout days for evaluation for a LUSC team. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Futsal Academy updates:

November Practices are completed - we had 2 with great attendance!

Ongoing, we will have 2 practices in December, and 3 practices in January and February. Join us on Friday nights! $50 for season. First attendance fee to see what we are about. Masks mandatory for everyone.

Spring Soccer - We need more players for U10 Coed, U12 Coed, U16B and U19B.

Registration dates: 11/20 - 1/1/2020

Heartland team registrations are due 1/4/2021.
Tryouts: email [email protected] and we will link you up with appropriate coach to attend a practice. Local HS Boy soccer players do not need to tryout - just register.
Practices for Spring 2021 outdoor season will start in March, Season will run April - June.

Competitive Uniform Ordering

Step by step for ordering uniforms:
1. Check with Team Manager/Coach to confirm jersey number
2. Take measurements to ensure that uniform pieces will fit - sizing charts available in the store once you select an item
4. Order and pay, and uniform kit will be shipped to the address you provide.

LUSC Competitive mandatory kit will be changing for the 2021-2022 season!! Cost will be $100 with $5.95 S&H.

MANDATORY KIT: Will include green, grey and yellow jerseys, one pair of shorts and one pair of socks. You can purchase additional items and spirit wear as well from the store.

Heartland Fall/Spring Soccer Field Alerts

To setup your customized alerts for Heartland Soccer and their Rainout announcements via email, text, or call-in please go to:

There is also a Rainout App you can download.

1. Click on the Email/text alerts in the left hand column. This will open all the options you have under 4 tabs.
2. You can down load app in the first tab
3. You can setup email and select certain fields for notices in the second tab
4. You can setup text and select certain fields for notices in the third tab
5. The unsubscribe option is located in the fourth tab

Please keep in mind that some carriers and cell phones have different bars of service at various locations. Double coverage from email and text is a good idea - as long as you don't mind the duplicate notifications on different formats.

Your team manager/coach will also be monitoring the weather and field conditions. If they are using team communication apps, then make sure those apps have their notification options turned on.

The weatherbug website and app will show how close lightening strikes have been recorded during a storm, a handy app to have on hand for practice and games.
