• What? Granite FC is the next competitive level of soccer in Granite Falls Youth Soccer. Our goal is to provide high quality competitive soccer at the most affordable price possible.Our Select program is open to any player in Snohomish County. Players are selected after a series of try-out days. Teams will play in the Washington Premier League (WPL) in their Copa League (beginning Select level) against other select groups. •  Who? For our inaugural season, Granite FC will be one team, U14B composed of Birth years 2010 & 2011. We do hope to add more teams & divisions, we just need experienced and willing Coaches to volunteer! 

•  When? Try-outs will be April 26 & 28 5-6:30 pm

•  Where? Try-outs will be at Granite Falls High School, meet on field 6 by the Tennis Courts. Spectators are welcome to stay and observe. 

•  How? Parents will be notified by Sunday, April 30 via Email if your player was selected and sent directions for the next steps (registration) Please be watching for the email and check your spam/junk folder. 

•  Cost? TRY-OUT IS FREE. GFYSC is passionate about keeping Soccer affordable for all players. We are working to keep the costs of our Select program down, your Coaches and all Club staff are volunteer based. Your fees will go to the cost of fields, field maintenance, referees, assistant referees, player cards, staff cards, league fees, tournament fees, uniforms, coach training, equipment, and so much more. We will be actively searching for Sponsors for this program and fundraising ideas to further cut the cost down per player. Cost will be taken off the year end total/#of payments or refunded if you paid in full for the year. We offer a payment plan over the course of the year. Your initial deposit of $50 will be due upon acceptance and at registration. 

• ***Total cost to play for the year will be $700. $50 due within 48 hours of acceptance, $50 or the remaining balance due May 20th. We offer flexible, monthly payment options, quarterly options or pay in full. There are also scholarship opportunities available to players. Don’t hesitate to reach out, we do not want cost to be a barrier to any player joining Select Soccer. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to inquire about player scholarship.

• Coaching staff for Granite FC will be Coach Scott King and Coach Wes Wyles. Both have an extensive Soccer background as players at the Rec, Select, Premier and College level and continue to play in adult leagues. Both Coaches have been coaching for over 6 years. They will have their Level I Coaching certificate and continue to educate themselves as Coaches through the WPL Coaching classes. After many years of being asked by bith players and Parents to Coach a Select team in Granite Falls, they both finally said yes! We are excited to have them to share their expertise, passion and positive Coaching style with these players. 

• What is included in the cost for Granite FC?  

1.  Year Round, Bi-Weekly practices beginning June 1st (Summer is flexible around vacations)
2.  Summer: End of Summer tournament, included in cost & dates will be handed out soon. 
3.  Fall: 10 game outdoor season
4.  Winter: Indoor season, cost included OR optional Winter tournament, cost included. 
5.  Spring: 6 game outdoor season
6.  Uniform is included: 1 Home Jersey, 1 Away Jersey, 1 game day short, 1 game day socks, 1 training t-shirt (must be worn at all practices), Granite FC sweatshirt & backpack.
