U.S. Soccer Coaching Education

Southside Soccer Club and Tigard Youth Soccer proudly support Oregon Youth Soccer Association's mission to develop coaches alongside our players.

The OYSA recommends that all coaches and volunteers have a profile in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center.

Our goal is to have all Tigard Youth Soccer volunteers earn their USSF Grassroots License, Southside Player Development Academy coaches and Competitive Academy assistance coaches earn at least two additional In-person Grassroots Licenses, and Competitive Academy head coaches earn at least a USSF National D License.

Oregon Youth Soccer Association Coaching Education

In conjunction with OYSA, our goal is that all coaches receive training every year.
As a member club, we can ensure that coaches have access to yearly training to
help them develop the kids they coach.

U.S. Soccer C Course

Summer 2021 Course - May through August - Portland
Registration will be open by mid-February
OYSA will apply to host a C Course every summer in the metro area.
