All participants in the VSC Travel program must attend at least one assessment session. Registration must be complete in order to participate in assessments.

Travel Soccer
Valley Soccer Club's Travel program is for youth players, age 9-14 (by 12/31), or 8th grade. This program is for players looking for a more competitive experience and requires more player and parent commitment. Travel players practice at least 2 times per week with 1-2 games on weekends throughout the season. Games range from home to neighboring Southeast CT towns up to 35 minutes away.

*VSC typically hosts teams in the U10, U12, & U15 age brackets for boys and girls. U10 teams are comprised of U9 and U10 players, U12 teams are comprised of U11 and U12 players, and U15 teams are comprised of U13, U14, and U15 players. Teams are formulated based on player assessments and registration numbers. Brackets & level of play may change at the club's discretion.

Full uniforms - Jersey, shorts, and socks are purchased by families online through our uniform vendor. This info. is provided upon registration.

Travel Soccer:

Travel soccer is for players ages 9 - 14 (by December 31st) who are looking for a more competitive experience. This level of soccer requires more player and parent commitment.

Each Spring VSC holds annual player assessments. These tryouts are required if your son/daughter would like to play at the travel level. Your player's assessment date and time options will be emailed to you upon registration.

Registration is $150.00. There are no refunds given after players have been placed on travel teams. Any players not placed on a travel team will automatically be rostered to the Club Soccer program for the fall season. This assures that all those who want to play, have a place to play. If your child does not want to play in the Club Soccer Program please notify the registrar.

Team Formations:

VSC typically hosts teams in the U10, U12, & U14 age brackets for boys and girls at both the Classic and Rec Plus level. Teams, brackets & level of play may change at the club's discretion.

Classic - Classic teams are comprised of our top players in the league and are competitive.

Rec Plus - Gives children who were not selected for a classic team an opportunity to play at a more competitive level than Club Soccer.
