Dear Little League® Volunteers and Parents,
By now, many of you have seen the despicable actions of the adults at the Bear Creek Junior Baseball Association in Lakewood, Colorado, just days ago. While this incident did not occur in a Little League® program, as the world’s largest and most widely recognized youth sports program, many news and social media outlets have used our name in association with these viral videos.
The reality is that this could happen in our program or in any youth sports program. Little League International has publicly condemned these actions, and there is no place for this behavior in our program or any youth sports program.
As we head into the Tournament Season, I wanted to share this message with you directly.
As always, I thank you for your continued service and dedication to the Little League program, and I encourage you to keep this important message in mind as you support your children in the Little League program and in all of their future activities.
Sincerely,
Stephen D. Keener
Little League President and CEO
