In light of the ongoing developments as a result of COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”), the AAU is temporarily suspending ALL AAU events, for the next 3 months, effective immediately. The AAU’s first priority is the safety and welfare of all of our athletes, coaches and families. The AAU will continue to monitor the situation on a national, regional, state and local level. We will keep all of our AAU members updated as the situation evolves.

At this time, please continue to check www.aausports.org and AAU sport websites for information related to AAU national events; updates will be posted here.

In addition to national-level events, the AAU has a long history of events across the country that are operated by independent event directors at the local, state and regional levels. The decisions relative to these events are made at the local level.  We continue to encourage all our members and event directors involved in AAU events to engage with their local health officials and continue to be guided by the information offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to formulate appropriate decisions and preparations.
