Austin Royals Soccer Program
Welcome! Beginners and seasoned players!
Royals Soccer is a great place for any soccer enthusiast who is looking to improve their skills, work hard, make new friends and have fun! Our goal is to honor God with our skills and gifts and encourage our teammates to do the same!
Austin Royals Soccer Elementary and Junior High Division has two co-ed competitive teams. We play other similar schools in the Austin area. Our elementary teams (4th, 5th and 6th grade) and our junior high teams (7th and 8th grade) play in the ACAA (Austin Christian Athletic Association) Division.
Austin Royals Soccer High School Teams play a variety of other teams typically small private schools, rec club teams and Christian schools from the Austin area. The High School teams practice together but are divided into the following teams: Austin Royals Girls Soccer Team, Austin Royals Boys Varsity Soccer Team, and Austin Royals Boys Junior Varsity Soccer Team. Try-outs for registered high school players will be in January.
Registration includes: 1 Royals jersey, 2 practices per week, 7-10 games per season, possible tournament
Players are responsible for: Black shorts, Black Soccer Socks, Cleats, Shin guards, Size 4 soccer ball (elementary), Size 5 (Middle and High School), and water bottle to be brought to every practice and game.
$225 for Elementary and Middle school;
$275 for High school.
4th - 6th grades* - Elementary team
7th - 8th grades** - Middle school team
9th - 12th grades*** - High school team
*students not older than 12 years on Sept. 1 of the current school year.
**students not older than 14 years on Sept. 1 of the current school year.
***students not older than 19 years on Sept. 1 of the current school year.
Registration Opens December 1st and Closes January 10, 2024.
*If teams fill up, registration will close prior to January 10.
High School Team Try-Outs are in January
-All players must be registered by January 10 to be eligible for Try-Outs.
-Players only need to attend one of the try-out days, but are welcome to attend both.
-Royals High School coaches will do their best to ensure all registered players will be assigned to one of the three high school teams. However, if there are too many players to accommodate, Royals will refund any players who are not eligible for the teams.
Elementary and Junior High Clinics are in January.
-All players must be registered by January 10 to be eligible for Elementary and Junior High Clinics.
Soccer practice begins Tuesday February 6, 2024Practices: Tuesday and Thursday 6-8pm at McMaster Field, Georgetown
February 6-March 12 regular T/TH practices
February 26: Games begin
March 8-17: Spring Break -modified practices depending on coaches schedules
March 18-April 23: Games and modified practices
April 25, 29, 30: ACAA Conference Championships (EL and JH only)
May 7: End of Season Party and Awards
