Registration Questions


Does my child need to attend Evaluations?

Fall Season - No, there is no evaluations for Fall Season.

Spring Season
 - YES, All kids who are 8 Years and up or AAA and Up will need to be part of the Evaluations process.



Do I need to verify my child for League Play.


Fall Season - No, there is no verification for Fall Season.

Spring Season
 
- YES, Little League International Requires that we complete an Age verification as well as Residency verification for ALL registered players.

Age verification requires a copy of the players birth certificate must be provided.

Residency verification requires 3 types of documents. LL Residency Check List can be found Here.


Can my child play up or play down?

Fall Season - Please sign up for the division offered and add your request to the Comments Section of the registration questions.  This will be reviewed by our Player Agent. If approved and their is a price difference you will be billed or refunded the difference.
*Only exception to this a League age 6 year old cannot move to Double A (Player Pitch) per Little League International rule*


Spring Season

What equipment will my child need?

Required:
Athletic Cup - (for boys)
Baseball glove
Baseball Cleats - (For Single A and above, Optional only for T-Ball)
Baseball Bat
Batting Helmet
Baseball Cap


We do have shared team equipment if needed:

Baseball Bat
Batting Helmet

Purchase later:
Pants, Belts, and Socks are to be provided by parents. 
Please do not purchase this till after you meet with your coach
They will tell you what color you need for your team.


What do my fees cover?

Fall Season
 - All fees cover the cost of the Hat and Jersey. In Fall we use a lighter Dri-Fit style Jersey so the cost is less.

 Spring Season - All Fees Covers Hat, Jersey, Trophy, Picture Package. 



What will the Practices and Games schedule be?

Exact times can not be provided until registration is finalized so we have a player, team count so field times can be assigned. 
The simple answer plan on 1-2 Practices a week, 1-weekday game and 1-weekend game. All-time and information will be shared as it becomes available.



Can I request players to be assigned to the same team?:

Fall Season - As of Fall 2020 no longer an option

Spring Season - As of Spring 2021 no longer an option. AAA and up are all selected by draft.

*Only Exception is for Siblings in the same Non Draft Division*



Can I request a Coach?

Fall Season
 - As of Fall 2020 no longer an option
Spring Season - As of Spring 2021 no longer an option



Can I still sign up if Registration is closed?

Yes, there is a grace window that will still allow sign-ups, but you will not go directly into the pool of players. You will go onto a wait list where you may or may not get assign to a team. You will not be charged if you are not put on a team.

Our recommendation is to sign up and sign up early to secure your spot. Once the grace window is closed there will be no more sign-ups.

WAIT LIST

If you are on the wait list you will be emailed if/when you are activated to a team.

The wait list is use to either balance out the teams or to back fill any canceled assigned players who registered during the sign up window.

There is a lot moving parts after registration is closed so be patient.

We wont give out status of position on the wait list. We do our best to move all the kids off, but they are pulled in order of sign up.



How do I sign up to Volunteer?

The registration for a volunteer is much the same as the player it's all done through our website, but there is no fee. LELL does require a background check.
Once assigned to a team we will email you a link to JDP website where you can complete the background check form.

Do I need a background check?
Any adult who will be on the field or in the dugout having contact with the kids. A background check is good for 1 year and we process them in October.

What if I Live outside the boundary of LELL ?

Little League International's policy is listed here, which will require the players parents to speak to their assigned (current boundaries) League Board of Directors to apply for a waiver.

Reporting a Issue

If you witness or experience an issue please contact the appropriate Board member so we can address is right away.



Who do I report a Coaching issue?

If the can not be handled directly with the Coach, Please bring the issue our Player Agent. 
They will escalate the issue up the proper chain if need be.



Who do I report a Parent or Player issue?

Please bring the issue our Player Agent. 
They will escalate the issue up the proper chain if need be.



Who do I report a safety concerns, incident, or injury?

All of those issues should be directed to our Safety Officer.
They will escalate the issue up the proper chain if need be.
