Updated LL Rules for 2023

New Year, New...Rules!

Each year Little League makes various updates to the rules and regulations for both in-season and tournament play.

Please note that there have been updates to rules that impact your players for the coming season:

Updated Rule: 1.11 (a)(3) Arm Bands

Need to Know: Any part of a pitcher's undershirt or t-shirt exposed to view shall be of a solid color. The pitcher's undershirt sleeves, if exposed, shall not be white or grey. (Note: This would go for compression arm sleeves as well, must be solid and no white or grey for pitchers)

Updated Rule: 1.11 (j) Jewelry

Need to Know: Players must not wear jewelry such as, but not limited to, rings, watches, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, nor any hard cosmetic/decorative item. Hard items to control the hair, such as beads, are permitted.

Umpires officiating our games are being instructed to be aware of these significant changes and we strongly suggest you help your player remove any jewelry prior to the game to keep with you or an adult for safe keeping.
