Spring 2021 Soccer Season Registration Is Open!!

It is time to start planning for the Spring Soccer Season in Ayer & Shirley. This Spring (2021) ASYS will once again plan to run and in-town soccer program for all divisions. The on line registrations have four divisions: Coed-Grades 3&4, Coed Grades 5&6, Coed Grades 7&8 and Coed Grades 9-12. If we get enough registrations to run gender specific divisions we will do so and not use the coed format. However we may not have enough players to do so.

In the Fall of 2020 we ran a coed "JV" division for grades 7-12. This worked well with one exception. We had some Upper Classmen who were just not challenged enough based on the mixing in of younger players. Depending on the number of registrations this Spring, we may be able to offer the Upper Classmen a more competitive set of games. We ask that any high school age players who are interested in playing to please register. Once we know what our options are we will explain them to all registered players. If the options are not appealing to your HS age player you can withdraw their registration.

We will not be collecting any registration fees at this time and all players will be placed on a "Wait List". This is only until we are sure we will have enough players to form a division. Once this is confirmed, registered players will be notified to log back in and complete their registrations. We expect the fee for Grades 3&4 will be $50, Grades 5&6 will be $70 and Grades 7-12 will be $75. No players will need to purchase an ASYS uniform this Spring, jerseys will be provided to all players.

Registrations are now open and will close on Friday, March 19, 2021.

As expected, all COVID regulations will be enforced including the required wearing of masks. However, some of the modified soccer rules from last Fall will not be required.
