MYBA 2022 Basketball Season

Below is information from MYBA. Please see the MYBA Facebook page for additional changes to rules and policies.

We will have a 2022 MYBA Season pending all COVID Restrictions and Protocols! We may need to add extra safety measures based on County and State Guidelines. There will be strict COVID Protocols put in place by MYBA to ensure proper safety as well as a Possibility of Spectator limits.

Season Changes:
- Regular Season starts January 7th (Friday Night)
- Playoffs Begin Friday March 4th and end Sunday March 13th (Championship Sunday)
- Could be weeknight games (2 minimum at available locations as makeup games due to inclement weather or some weekend doubleheaders
- Adding 11th Grade ONLY back to League "NO 12th Grade"
- ABSOLUTELY NO AAU or TRAVEL Basketball Teams!
- If a player is rostered to a High School, Mid-Maryland Roster, Any Travel or AAU Team they will not be able to play within MYBA within same season.
- Practices may NOT start until November

Divisions:
- 3rd/4th Grade Boys and Girls
- 5th/6th Grade Boys and Girls
- 7th/8th Grade Boys and Girls
- 9th/10th Grade Boys
- High School Girls (9-12th Grade)

**No 11th/12th Grade Division for Boys**
