The Limestone Girls Softball Association, LGSA, (501(c) not for profit status ID 20-8072868) was founded in 1975 with the purpose of creating athletic programs for girls ages 4 to 18 in the surrounding Limestone area.  Sportsmanship, teamwork, and civic values are important characteristics of our organization, and we are honored by our 2012 induction into the IL ASA Hall-of-Fame.  Over the years, our girls have earned several state and regional championships along with top national finishes.   

All board members, both executive and at large, as well as our coaching staff are community volunteers.  We take pride in in building self-esteem and confidence in our girls to drive performance both on and off the field while teaching proper softball techniques.  Our 40+ year success is the result of tremendous support from our community and volunteers.  

Building Our Future:  LGSA, with the approval of the Village of Bartonville, has a multi-year project to develop a new softball complex within Alpha Park, centrally located in Bartonville IL.  Thanks in part to community donations we have completed our three planned fields and built a concession stand! In 2019, we built covered dugouts on three softball fields.
