Taney Youth Baseball Association is a proud chartered member of Little League International. To play in a specific Little League, Little League International establishes player eligibility through geographical boundaries. 

One or both parents of the child must reside within our boundaries as of February 1 of this year, or the child must attend school within our boundaries as of October 1 of last year. If the child either lived/lives or attended/attends school within our boundaries during that period, the child is eligible to play this season.

Any player who was registered with TYBA in 2012 or 2013 -- and played each year with us without a break -- is eligible to play with Taney every year, regardless of residence or school. In addition, all siblings of that player are also eligible to play without a waiver, as long as there is no family lapse in registration. 

Other players may require a waiver in order to participate in the spring season. 

If your family resides outside of the designated geographic boundaries of the TYBA Little League, we will contact you by email. TYBA will apply to Little League Baseball on your child's behalf, requesting full eligibility for regular season (customarily granted) and for post-season Little League district playoffs (not customarily granted). Players who are granted regular (intramural) season eligibility but not post-season eligibility may participate in the TYBA spring regular (intramural) season and playoffs, and may also try out for and join post-season tournament teams, but will not be eligible to participate in the district tournaments or World Series Little League playoffs.Please note that our southern boundary is the north side of Washington Avenue, as there is another Little League charter in South Philadelphia.
